Lesedi Graduation

Not only did the two electrical learnership students make it to the last nine of this national event which is held to showcase the competency of skills within the apprenticeship, learnership and vocational skills programmes in South African, but Mabitsela walked away with the winner’s trophy in the competition and a cheque for R20 000. Here Mabitsela (middle) is congratulated on his achievement by Peermont Education Trust Trustee, Archie Luhlabo during the Lesedi Programme Graduation ceremony at Emperors Palace on Tuesday afternoon, May 21. With them is Nick du Toit (left) of P&T Technology’s, the company instrumental in the Lesedi electrical student’s learnership programmes, skills competition finalist, Frank Mashika and Emperors Palace Assistant Maintenance Manager, Eric Robinson (right), who has been closely involved in the two students’ practical training.
