In celebration of its 15th birthday, Emperors Palace will be offering an extravaganza of Las Vegas style stakes from July to September, with R5.5 million in cars, cash and prizes to be won, including two all expenses paid trips to Las Vegas.
Until the end of September, South Africans can experience thrilling Vegas-inspired gaming and entertainment at the Palace of Dreams, Gauteng’s own Vegas of Africa, on the very doorstep of O.R. Tambo InternationalAirport.
General Manager Nigel Atherton says that EmperorsPalace would like to thank its guests for their phenomenal support over the past 15 years. “Our birthday gaming celebration at Emperors Palace is intended to show our appreciation to South Africa’s gaming community. Our guests can look forward to a true experience of Vegas style. Viva the Vegas of Africa!”
Viva Las Vegas is not only about gaming. With great deals on offer in the Entertainment Emporium, EmperorsPalace is now the home of Sunday Lunches during this birthday period. Enjoy delicious meals at favourite brand name restaurants for R49.99 or less at all participating outlets in the Emporium. There is something for everyone, free movie tickets, mystery jackpots, free meals at the Queen of the Nile for children under 12 on Winna Wednesdays, special treats for senior players and much more.
Celebrate Viva Las Vegas with entertainment highlights such as:
Audience members will dance the night away to the latest Bollywood hits on 18 August at the Badtameez Aashiqui Concert in the Centre Court. Hosted by heartthrob, Upen Patel, the concert will feature Aashiq of Aashiquis Arijit Singh and the rock ‘n’ roll king, Benny Dayal. Tickets start from R150 per person.
The Golden Gloves Triple Thunder boxing tournament will take place in the Centre Court on 31 August. Featured on the bout card will be Ryno Liebenberg, Nkosinathi Joyi and Junior Makabu, to name a few. Tickets start from R175 per person.
Casper de Vries will bring his first full length English stand-up show, Casper Goes Khaki, to the Theatre of Marcellus from 5 to 29 September...and it promises to be every bit as preposterous, ridiculous and absurd as one would expect it to be! Tickets start from R160 per person.
Back by popular demand, EmperorsPalace will once again host the nation’s favourite comedians under one roof at the Kings and Queens of Comedy show on 23 September. The line-up will include comedians, Mark Banks, Marc Lottering and Darren “Whackhead” Simpson, to name a few. The show will be performed in the Centre Court and tickets are R160 per person.
Celebrate Heritage Day and treat the family to a fun filled comedy picnic with Barry Hilton in the Gardens at the D’oreale Grande hotel on 24 September. Tickets are R85 per person and can be purchased at the gate.
