Celebrate in grand style this Valentine’s Day
10 February 2010
Peermont’s Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone, Botswana, is feeling the love this month with romantic Valentine’s promotions, value for money accommodation deals and a delicious food festival.
To celebrate the world's most romantic day, the lavish 4-star Peermont Walmont, 3-star Mondior and Metcourt hotels at the Grand Palm will be discounted by 50% between 12-14 February. The Bagarona 50% Weekend Promotion for Botswana citizens and residents will also be on offer during this time.
"Guest staying in our hotels for the weekend can expect a truly romantic experience. Couples can enjoy the thrill of the grand casino, sip cocktails at our elegant cocktail bar or take a romantic walk in our landscaped gardens. For the more energetic guests we have a range of sporting and recreational facilities on offer from floodlight tennis courts to a full size volley ball court," says Charne Christensen, Marketing and Promotions Manager at The Grand Palms.
The Molokwane Bistro Restaurant is the perfect place for couples wanting to enjoy an evening filled elegance, sophistication, sumptuous food and of course romance. The relaxed, contemporary restaurant with chic and modern décor splashed with African detail will spice up any Valentine's Day with an international style buffet dinner on 14 February. For P195 per person, guests receive a welcome drink, a rose for ladies and a night to wine and dine their loved ones in style.
"We are making Valentine's Day extra special this year and have commissioned local favourite, Henry, to serenade guests with love songs as they dine in the restaurant. We are also planning to theme all the tables appropriately and will be using lots of candles and lighting effects to set the mood," says Christensen.
Also planned for the weekend is a mouthwatering Food Feast at the Molokwane Bistro offering guests unbeatable value with an "eat as much you like" special for P140 per person. This offer will run for the month of February on Fridays and Saturdays dinner time and Saturdays and Sundays lunchtime.
"The Grand Palm Hotel Casino and Convention Resort is the perfect destination for couples wanting to get away from it all and spend some time together. As one of Botswana's premier resorts we will be offering couples all the romance in the world as well as value for money," says Christensen
