The 5-star Peermont D’oreale Grande at Emperors Palace, and the 5-star Peermont Walmont at the Grand Palm in Botswana achieved top honours in 2010 with two awards for excellence from the World Travel Awards body, segmenting their status as premier luxurious hotels in South Africa and Botswana respectively.
The Peermont D'oreale Grande hotel at Emperors Palace won the ‘2010 World Luxury Hotel Award' at the prestigious World Travel Awards held earlier this year. Hailed by the Wall Street Journal as the "travel industry equivalent to the Oscars", this award acknowledged the D'oreale Grande hotel as excellent in the ‘luxurious hotels' category. The deluxe 5-star Peermont D'oreale Grande is the flagship hotel of the Emperors Palace resort boasting 196 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, the elegant conservatory-styled Aurelia's restaurant, a magnificent pool area and glorious gardens, complete with Wedding Chapel and the sheer indulgent Octavia's Sensorium Day Spa, providing the best in luxury and regal comfort.
Peermont Resorts secured its status as a luxurious group of hotels with their second award for excellence for the Peermont Walmont hotel at The Grand Palm. This deluxe 5-star 188-key business hotel achieved the prestigious title of ‘Botswana's Leading Hotel' at the Botswana leg of the World Travel Awards in July. The Peermont Walmont hotel is a contemporary hotel, offering a full range of services for executive business travellers, premium leisure travellers, conference and tour groups.
