Emperors Palace, the ultimate entertainment destination in 2011

Emperors Palace presents a plethora of entertainment options to celebrate the start of the New Year. The spectacular line-up includes The Parlotones, the sensational Imogen Heap, superstar Sean Kingston, and the brilliant Nataniƫl, to name but a few.

The stage spectacular, City Heat will be performed in the Odeon Showbar, Wednesdays to Saturdays until March 2011. This fast-moving, high paced energy show combined with a talented cast, beautiful costumes and great music is undoubtedly a must-see.  Tickets are R65 per person and can be purchased at the door.

It's all laughs with Curry on Laughing from 14 to 16 January in 64 @ The Palace. Everyone likes a good curry and a good laugh, and this time the spice is in the comedy. Curry on Laughing is a nonstop delicious all-you-can-eat comedy buffet with 3 of SA`s top comedians - Sans Moonsamy (Those Indian Guys!), Jailoshini Naidoo (Eastern Mosaics) and Eubulus Tracy (Comedy Festival man). Tickets start from R120 per person.

The Parlotones: Carbon Free Concert will take over the Theatre of Marcellus from 21 to 23 January. Known for their polished stage performances, the group has scooped a number of awards over the years, including a SAMA Award - Best Rock Album; You Magazine Award 2007 - Best Band; FHM Readers Choice 2007 and MK Award 2007 - Best Video.  Tickets for the Parlotones are R175 per person.

 A tribute to boxing champion Baby Jake Matlala, "The Night of the Little Big Men" will be held in the Centre Court on 27 January. In association with SuperSport and Golden Gloves, the benefit box and dine will raise funds for the former boxing champion who has fallen on hard times. The bill will be headlined by Hekkie Budler and Gideon Buthelezi for the coveted IBO Light-Flyweight Title. The multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist, international singing sensation Imogen Heap will perform in the Theatre of Marcellus on 29 and 30 January.  The Grammy nominated singer has inspired adoring fans the world over with her stylish, tech-savvy musicality has been perfectly described as "organic electronica". Tickets to see this phenomenal songstress in action start from R245 per person.

The Emperors Palace Cycling Classic Race on 5 and 6 February is set to take Gauteng cyclists by storm. Presented by Edenvale Peddlers in association with Cyclingnews, the Rotary Club of Edenvale and Sweat and Gears this road race is not to be missed. South-African singer, songwriter and entertainer, Nataniël returns to the Theatre of Marcellus stage with his latest show spectacular, COMBAT from 17 February to 26 March. Over the past decade the talented artist has not only established himself as producer, director, designer, playwright and public speaker, but is South Africa's leading exponent of the solo stage act. An outspoken and controversial figure, Nataniël continuously crosses over from the alternative circuit to the main stage, and this new show will be another event "not to be missed".  Tickets start from R135 per person.

The Palace of Dreams presents superstar Sean Kingston, in association with MXit and for 2 shows only on 25 and 26 February in the Centre Court. The Miami-born, Jamaican-raised sensation bolted up the radio and retail charts with hits like "Beautiful Girls" and "Eenie Meenie".  Don't miss this phenomenal international performer. Tickets start from R350 per person.
