Bollywood extravaganza to WOW audiences at Emperors Palace

Bookings are now open for Mystic India, a Bollywood music and dance spectacular which has been astounding audiences across the globe.

Running from 7 to 26 May at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, Gauteng. Bollywood’s most sensational music and dance extravaganza, Mystic India, is about to stun South African audiences when it heads to our shores as part of its massively anticipated world tour. Leading up to its arrival in Gauteng, this magical production has been taking the world by storm and will now be bringing this very same magic to the fabulous Theatre of the Marcellus at Emperors Palace.

Based on the concept of ancient India’s transition into modern India, the show features some 28 talented artists and 750 opulent costumes, set against stunning lighting and visual effects. 

Mystic India brings together the ‘cream of the crop’ from the heart of Bollywood in Mumbai. The vibrant costumes were brought to life by a myriad of talented costumiers from Mumbai, while the sets have been custom designed especially for the world tour - the massive production team consists of more than 40 creative designers. The cast includes dancers who have performed alongside Bollywood’s most prominent actors.
Directed and choreographed by widely respected choreographer and production master Amit Shah - founder and creative director of AATMA Performing Arts - he weaves a spellbinding tale of India told through song and dance which explodes onto the stage in a feast of colour, sights and sounds.
