Emperors Palace to host yet another ‘Really Good Weekend’

24 June 2014

Emperors Palace will come alive on Sunday, 29 June, when the talented singer and songwriter, Zonke, will entertain guests on the picturesque lawns of the 5-star D’oreale Grande hotel.

Really Good Weekends is a series aimed at mature, urban music enthusiasts, with music aficionados being able to enjoy live performances by award winning bands in a comfortable, safe and relaxed environment, supported by unmatched production quality.

The multi-platinum selling artist, Zonke, is an extremely beautiful and talented artist who not only writes and records her own hits, but also those of many other South African musicians. Last year saw Zonke add to her growing collection of awards when she took home the Metro Award for Best Female Artist, which was only eclipsed by her selection as the first South African Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations. Zonke’s unique sound has been described as “laid back and soulful” - the perfect choice for unwinding after the stress and strain of a busy week.

A selection of food and beverage will be on sale in the garden, and concert goers are welcome to bring chairs and umbrellas. The gates will open at 12h00 and seating is unreserved. Tickets are limited and priced at R160 per person. Winners Circle discounts apply.

Combine a Really Good Weekends show with a delectable 3-course Dinner and Show package from as little as R420 per person. Make the occasion extra special with a Dinner, Show and Stay package starting from R1 440 per person sharing. This accommodation package is specifically valid for Saturday, 28 June. For more information call Peermont Central Reservations on 011 557 0777 or 0860 777 900.
