Don't Dalla Wid Da Masala
The enigmatic & charismatic Karou Charou introduced himself to the people of Secunda when he featured with the “uncles” Peru & Bala on their national road show in April 2013.
The audience instantly realized why he is regarded as the most prolific, commercially successful Indian comedian on the circuit today. Karou has played to sold-out audiences across the country , including places such as Thohoyandou, Witbank and Nelspruit , where he played to predominantly white and black audiences.
His success is due his unique style. He prefers to define himself as an entertainer , rather than a comedian. He bounces on and off the stage delivering high octane , high energy routines. He has the unique ability to wander off stage and engage in unscripted yet hilarious banter with the audience.
Don’t Dalla wid da Masala, dissects all things Indian. He reveals the secret as to why Muslims are generally wealthy, explains why Indians don’t play rugby, warns of the dangers of on-line dating, shares his woes on losing money at the races and relates a comic tale on mixed marriages. How much fun can you have with a roll of toilet paper? Karou will show you.
As with all his shows, the audience plays a big part, and even the kids get a chance to share the stage with Karou.
The “turbaned One” will be performing for one night only at Graceland Casino on Saturday 22 February 2014. The show is suitable for all ages so bring the kids and gramps, nana, nannie ..and enjoy a fun night out.
