Enjoy an Eggcellent Easter at Emperors Palace

It’s that time of the year again, when you can hear the screams of delight as children await the arrival of the Easter bunny! Emperors Palace once again proves that it is the perfect family entertainment destination with an Easter entertainment and promotions line-up like never before. In addition to the usual range of entertainment on offer, there are loads of extra activities to ensure the holidays offer even more excitement. Bring your family to the Entertainment Emporium and experience a wide variety of dining and entertainment choices. There's something for everyone at Nu Metro, where you pay half price for any movie on Wednesdays. From Good Friday (22 April) to Easter Monday let Jupiter's, with their certified child care staff take care and entertain the younger children. Easter activities have been planned for children aged 1 to 12 including Easter egg hunts, face-and finger painting, joyful buskers and entertainment for the older kids in the "neuro-interactive" edutainment room. With popular children's games, educational activities, regular shows and a snack bar, Jupiter's is a fun filled, safe and secure environment for children. Operating hours are Fridays and Saturdays from 08h00 to 05h00, and Sundays to Thursdays 08h00 to 24h00.

For those who are hungry, come to the authentic Portuguese eatery Braza for great seafood specials, including a 500g kingklip for R120; three lobsters Algarve for only R185 and a spectacular seafood platter with dorado, grilled prawns, mussels, calamari and sides for only R300!  The original Tribes African Grill and Steakhouse Easter specials include Crayfish Thermidor, king prawns, delicious fresh seafood and more. Dine at Tribes between 22 and 28 April and stand a chance to win a special Easter gift hamper. Guests can also look forward to dining at Platia - a traditional Greek Taverna, Asian-influenced Fu Li Hua, spicy and delicious Taste of Mumbai, trendy and chic News Café, the freshest fish at Ocean Basket, convivial and friendly Col'Cacchio Pizzeria and South Africa's favourite family restaurant Gold Rush Spur

Other great dining options include Aurelia's restaurant, which offers fine dining in the spectacular environment of the D'oreale Grande hotel. Don't feel guilty for overindulging at the Egyptian themed Queen of the Nile buffet restaurant just off the main casino floor, offering a plethora of dishes from all over the world.

When a day of excitement is complete, guests will find soothing repose at one of the four luxurious hotels at the resort. From 22 March to 2 May, spend a night and enjoy sheer elegance at the 5-star Peermont D'oreale Grande hotel including breakfast at the beautiful Aurelia's restaurant for only R930 per person sharing. The Peermont Mondior hotel is a generous 4-star hotel that sets an exciting new standard in leisure accommodation facilities; spend from R695 per person sharing per night including breakfast from 22 March to 2 May and you'll see why! Glamour has never been this affordable at the two 3-star hotels. A comfortable night at the Peermont Metcourt Suites is only R495 per person sharing, and a night at the modern, contemporary Peermont Metcourt Hotel is only R435 per person sharing!
